The IPL-2020 after maintaining all the rules and protocols has arrived and it surely brings some smile and entertainment among all the people not only in India but all over the world. The first three games ended up the draught of watching Ms Dhoni after 430 odd days and Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma after 200 odd days. The IPL is special not only because of Indians but so many foreigners playing for their individual franchise become the wealth of India for nearly 2 months.

80 in the heat of Abu Dhabi shut all the critics about Rohit’s fitness coming
into this IPL. Although, it’s really great to see where a Australian was going
all over the park, a young Indian fast bowler, Shivam Mavi, in his 4 overs got
2 crucial wickets for 32 runs bowling in death. KKR didn’t start well and
wickets in the essential phases didn’t help them at all. All the Mumbai bowlers
were spot on in their line and lengths. Cummins late cameo just reduces the
margin of their loss to 49runs.
Thursday noon came with such a shocking news. Our favourite commentator and former Australian Cricketer DEAN JONES has passed away in a cardiac arrest in a studio of Mumbai. The name could be so funny but the show on Thursday night by KL Rahul deserves the headline. Again a team won the toss and choose to bowl. It was a nice start by Kohli and Co. with Chahal spins Agarwal out with a googly. But, the script seemed to be written for Rahul last evening. From ball one he played a matured innings with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders and Kohli's fumble did help him to bring up the first century of the season. Poor line lengths saw RCB bowlers went for 74 runs in the last 4 overs. Now, what do you want now from now as a RCB fan ?? A good solid opening partnership and Virat-AB show. The way RCB went to their business; it was totally the opposite of KXIP and that saw Rahul achieving his maiden win as a captain.
PRITHVI COMES, PRITHVI SHOW, PRITHVI CONQUERED
When Ms Dhoni won the toss, everyone expected the former Indian captain to go for batting first but he said he wanted to bowl respecting the conditions. Prithvi Shaw, after getting a chance on a golden duck when a silent edge took the corner of his bat and no one came to know about the fact untill the broadcasters show us that, went on to make 64 runs in an opening partnership of 94 with Dhawan. This innings took Delhi to 175 mark which CSK would accept easily with 94-0 in 10.3 overs. Again CSK were in a big run-chase but not a huge one. But, if you see their innings, it's like they have began their packing late and untill they made it, the train has left the station. Ms did came to bat but the party was over then. Although, it's a big tournament but stiil two back to back loss will surely hurt CSK who will welcome Rayudu vs SRH after a 6-day break.
A TROOP OF SUCCESSFUL BOYS WITHOUT THEIR PRINCIPAL
Saturday saw skipper David Warner winning the toss opting to bat first at last which has become a winning formula. It's almost like the replica of CSK's chase against DC. SRH completed their innings at 142 but losing just 4 wickets. Saha's innings of 30 of 31 where he crossed the 100 strike rate mark at the 18th over coming at the 7th over again brought the retired out thought before everyone. It's not like Saha wasn't trying but it's one of the days where you are neither getting out nor hitting boundaries. KKR, although lost 3 wickets but went home with 12 balls to sphere, thanks to a splendid innings of young Shubman Gill (70* off 62 balls).The exclusion of head coach Tom Moddy hasn't clicked the campaign of SRH in a bright note.
NO RESPECT FOR BOWLERS IN SHARJAH
The game between RR & KXIP can easily be the top thriller in last so many years. If someone said that he knew what was coming, I am telling you either he was drunk or he didn't know what he has spoken. Punjab went on to make a huge total of 226, thanks to superb innings by Mayank Agarwal of 106 and a second fiddle by KL Rahul. RR, playing with 7 bowlers needed to do something special to cover the chase and they started with Steve Smith's 27 ball 50. The artist, Sanju Samson carrying his form smashed 85 runs but it's the story of becoming villain to hero. Rahul Tewatia, coming to bat at no. 4 was on 8 off 19 deliveries and was in the receiving end of everyone's blame in the social media. but suddenly a 5 sixes over of Cottrell in a blink of an eye changed the whole equation. RR went on to make the highest chase of IPL history with 3 balls to go. BELIEVE YOURSELF AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL BELIEVE YOU.
SUPER-OVER SAVES RCB
RCB & MI had was facing each other for the first time in this season. Rohit Sharma winning the toss decided to field respecting the conditions. RCB openers Finch (52) and Padikkal (54) started well but the final punch to get them to 201 came from Mr. 360 and young Shivam Dube. Mumbai hasn't started well losing SKY and Rohit early. but Young Ishan Kishan scored 99 with Pollard's 24 ball 60. The game witnessed its 2nd super-over in the second week. Navdeep Saini keeping himself calm just paid 7 runs which RCB chased to get 2 crucial points in their kitty.
So, that remains the first week of IPL-2020 Which saw so much turnarounds and thrillers. In the next, there are so much games that we should look forward. How CSK makes a comeback, the way of going ahead by RR & DC, RCB's death bowling and many more.
